New services for workshops - presented at Automässan

Bilvision broadens its portfolio with new digital services for workshops. The solutions are built to streamline and simplify the work with quality and regulatory compliance, but above all to increase profitability in the aftermarket - where revenues become more important as new-car sales decline. The services are presented in more detail at Automässan 2026.

The downward trend in new-car sales means the aftermarket becomes an increasingly crucial revenue source for dealers and workshops. That's why Bilvision is launching new digital services that help more customers in the workshop segment increase utilisation at the workshops.

  • Both capturing and retaining the customer in a long-term relationship is central to profitability. One of our new services is built to support workshops in finding the right and more business - for example by increasing utilisation through automatic leads, says Fredrik Plantin, Aftermarket product owner at Bilvision.

The new services also aim to simplify and streamline the work with regulatory compliance, something that today requires a lot of time and administration.

  • The regulatory framework for different types of vehicle repairs and workshop operations is becoming ever more extensive, both from EU direction and through the industry organisations' various standards. Electrification creates even more complexity with new rules for high-voltage vehicles and battery handling, says Fredrik Plantin.

Against this backdrop, Bilvision has developed a new platform for management systems with the option of gathering several standards in one and the same tool.

  • It makes it easier for quality and environment managers to ensure procedures are followed and documentation is in place, which saves an enormous amount of time. Instead of scattered systems, you get a unified platform that is both adaptable and future-proof, Fredrik Plantin continues.

Automässan - an important industry arena In January Bilvision exhibits at Automässan in Gothenburg to launch the new services to the target group. Patrik Kullman, Sales Manager, looks forward to fully packed days at the trade show:

  • Automässan has always been an important meeting place for us, and this year we have a larger booth that makes room for both existing customers and new contacts. We're also joined by some of our sister companies within the Movement Software group to really show our collective strength in software services for the vehicle industry, Patrik concludes.
