From Posten's data department to standing on our own
We have conveyed vehicle information since the early 1990s. For several years the data and information services sat under Posten. In 2004 it was time to stand on our own under the name Bilvision, and at the same time we began building our own services instead of simply passing information on.
All development still happens from the office in Gothenburg. Since 2013 we have been part of Movement Software, a growing international software group of B2B companies. That gives us sister companies to share knowledge with, and gives customers more services that fit together.
We know the industry from the inside
Many of us have worked in a showroom, a workshop or at a finance company before coming to Bilvision. You do not need to explain the basics to us.
Developers, account managers, salespeople and support sit in the same building in Gothenburg. That keeps the route from a customer request to a finished feature short.

We become the main supplier of vehicle data to the industry organisation Mobility Sweden and build an entirely new statistics platform.

We focus on the Swedish market, and most of our customers are in the vehicle industry. But we also help other companies, organisations and public authorities that need quick access to details about vehicles, owners and drivers.
